Las Vegas, NV (November 29, 2012) – gMed presented gGastro+, their newest fully integrated EHR system at the ACG 2012 Annual Scientific Meeting and Postgraduate Course presented by the American College of Gastroenterology, in Las Vegas, NV. gGastro+ is the first specialty-specific application that combines EHR, Endoscopy Writer, Patient Portal and Practice Management under one single platform. ACG is one of the largest gatherings of gastroenterology professionals from all over the country. With such an impressive turn out, gMed’s sales team had the opportunity to share, teach and get to know new GI professionals, as well as current clients.
Attendees were very interested in learning about gGastro+, and all of the new functionality and benefits offered, including gPM, its new generation practice management system. The gMed sales team was pleased to answer questions, offer demonstrations and set up meetings to educate and provide medical professionals with information on this exciting, all-encompassing product. Medical professionals also showed great interest in gGastro’s impressive compatibility with the AGA and GIQuIC registries. gGastro is the only system that reports to both the AGA and GIQuIC programs.
Scott Wilson, Vice President of Sales and Business Development, gMed says, “Attendees had a couple of distinct interests this year. The first was about quality medicine and how it can be captured using information technology, as well as how it can be reported to GI specific registries. The second, was an overwhelming interest in gMed’s integrated billing platform, which makes workflow more efficient, lowers costs, and improves cash flow for our clients. The attendee’s response to our full suite approach was enlightening and exciting.”
