This module is in development and will be released in 2006.

Order Tracking : Physician orders are documented and sent to medical assistants directly from the note writer or from the automated order tracking system. This allows for better management of patient care and reduction of errors and omissions.

Laboratory Results Management : Nurses and physicians can receive and manage all laboratory orders from the automated results management system. Currently, there are interfaces built for many national laboratories. Most results are received immediately after a transmission is sent directly from the laboratory.

Prescription Writer : Directly from the note writer or from the prescription module the physician can legibly and accurately write prescriptions and electronically send them directly to the pharmacists. Using cost effective and paperless prescriptions the writer can reduce time for refill requests and allow allied staff to easily search for previous prescriptions using an advanced database system.

Automated Coding : Billing and compliance costs are dramatically reduced while shortening the A/R cycle. Interfaces to several medical billing systems, including Millbrook and Mars, are included in the software. Using the imbedded coding logic, physicians can optimize E/M coding to the highest level of specificity allowing to increase reimbursements.

Paperless Faxing : Inbound faxes are received in an electronic form decreasing costs and increasing profits. Nurses and assistants can file faxes electronically into patient's record or send for review to anyone in the organization. Faxes can be sent directly from the system without having to send a hard copy.

Intelligent Scanning : Scanning patient records, while decreasing time and cost, allows users to acquire patient medical history in an easy manner. Medical staff is able to input and route relevant information within seconds.

Task Management : Physicians and nurses can track orders, results, messages and tasks performed on the patient securely and easily. It also allows communications between the staff and the patients to be enhanced, while decreasing liabilities and costs. In addition, this feature enhances the office manager's control over staff productivity.

Call center Management : All inbound calls and messages can be managed in a secure and cost effective way. The messages are sorted appropriately to the physicians and allied staff for patient use. These messages are then placed in the medical records for future access. This not only increases patient satisfaction, but also healthcare efficiency.

Voice Recognition Technology : Physicians and nurses can use speech recognition software. The software instantly converts what users say into text, eliminating the long turnaround times and costs of transcriptions. Using the latest medical terminology dictionary users can easily achieve accuracy rates of up to 99%.
